Gaurav Perti

Founder and CEO

Gaurav Perti is the Founder & CEO of PurpleTutor. He has more than 16 years of industry experience, including 5 years as an entrepreneur. He founded PurpleTutor with a view to change education using technology and believes learning can be enhanced using the same. PurpleTutor focusses on coding since it is a very passionate subject to him. He started his career with ICICI Lombard GIC and then spent 10+ years with Standard Chartered Bank, and in leadership roles such as Head – Investments & Head – Business Clients. His entrepreneurship career started with founding fincash.com where he spent 3 years as CEO. At Stanchart, he won various industry awards such the Best Structured Products House(India), (2007, 2009, 2010 & 2011) and also CNBC Best Financial Advisor Award (2012,2013 & 2014). Gaurav is a B.Tech. from IIT Bombay and MBA from IIM Lucknow. He is an avid sportsperson and a yoga enthusiast.

Yatish Gupta

Founder and CTO

Yatish Gupta is the Founder and CTO of PurpleTutor. He has over 17 years of experience in technology with over 6 years of start-up experience. With expert knowledge across sectors in the technology space he has created & managed large talent pools in the technology domain and lead multiple teams. He has worked with marquee names such as Talentica Software, GEP Worldwide, Geometric Ltd. He is very passionate about technical education and firmly believes that learning coding at young age will enhance creativity of kids and create a maker culture. He believes that technology will disrupt conventional education sector in a big way and a number of innovations are underway which will completely redefine education sector. Yatish has completed his B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Bombay. His hobbies include solving puzzles and listening to music.
